If you watch it you can see what my game looked like with a few mods. PS: At the time I played SS2 I made a short video of it. It's up to you whether you like it sharper or more smudged. Vanilla is fine but by using sharper, higher resolution reproductions of the original textures can't be wrong. And the one thing I kept original was all enemy models, because I liked the way they look. Also custom high res space skybox (I would often just stop by a window to appreciate the view) It added a lot to immersion compared to vanilla skybox. I picked custom models that I liked for certain weapons. As far as I remember I used mostly or only mods that were faithful to lore or original textures to keep it as vanilla as possible just better (higher res). I'm a big fan of old school low poly graphics but when its fullHD and better textures it's absolutely brilliant in my opinion. But from my experience it was amazing moded. Its like 7-8 years ago so I can't remember list of mods. When I first played SS2 I moded it before starting. The Shock Community Patch fixes a host of issues and adds dozens of small touches and enhancements that improve the experience. If you're going to install just one mod, install SCP. It fixes an odd issue with one of the enemies. If you do install rebirth, I'd also suggest the Real Hybrid Shotgun addon, which shows up in the Rebirth topic. Take a look at the Rebirth thread and decide for yourself. Personally, I think the Rebirth models improve the experience, but that's subjective. However, it's highly debated as to whether the new Rebirth models are better than the originals. Rebirth is a model-replacement mod for the enemies that drastically ramps up their poly-count. Now the one thing we need to talk about is Rebirth. SCP (gameplay bugfixes and improvements, requires to start a new game) Olfred's fixed objects (bugfixed object models) Quest Note Notifier (displays a notification for quest notes) ![]() Vurt's Organics (organic objects) - All except Biomatter and GrubPodSlimey. Vintage Song Remake (original music, better quality) Vurt's Flora Overhaul (updated plant life) Here's a copy-paste of the list from there, though you really should read Koyla's excellent guide. If you choose to add mods, I'd recommend everything from this guide (with one possible exception). Instead they're enhancements that hew closely to the designer's intent. ![]() The most popular System Shock 2 mods aren't huge game-changers that radically alter the plot. Mod the everloving hell out of it - This is my recommendation. Play it pure for your first playthrough - The game was amazing the day it was released, so there isn't really a reason to add anything to it. ![]()

It is advised to drop the starting revolver as soon as possible for a stronger offering such as a double-barrel Ashot, or to simply find a better-modded revolver. As this is slow to fire and reload, and has low capacity, it is of very limited and niche usefulness. In Metro Exodus, the starting configuration of the revolver comes with a manually indexing 3-round cylinder, silencer, and a single-action hammer. At the same time though, if one is willing to sacrifice the military grade rounds for their use, said rounds can be a useful, albeit slow and hazardous, way to kill librarians. 44 rounds found in Kshatriya are essentially unavailable at the beginning of the mission, the Revolver is thus, a poor weapon of choice for the Ranger Trainee's first outing. Because of its drawbacks the Revolver is generally a poor choice when fighting mutants, especially smaller, faster ones, such as nosalises, watchers, and lurkers. It is best used as a weapon for controlled and calculated shots, such as during stealth situations or when picking off enemies one-by-one, when immediate attention on multiple targets is not an issue. The Newton was named after Sir Isaac Newton, the British scientist who formulated the 3 Laws of Motion in 1687. In the metric system, the unit of measurement for force is the "Newton." A Newton is the force required to make 1 kilogram object accelerate 1 meter-per second-per second (1m/s 2). Let's consider the 2 most popular unit-systems: the metric system and the imperial system. The unit of measurement for force depends on what unit-system you use. 351-352, published by Rupert and Marie Hall), Newton outlined, but did not give details concerning, the attraction among “very small particles,” explaining that it is “of the electrical kind.” He then lists briefly some of the properties of what he calls “the electric spirit.” Since that publication in 1962, there has been no doubt that the “spirit” mentioned in the final paragraph of the General Scholium is electrical. What is the unit of measurement for force? ![]() ![]() In a draft of the General Scholium (ULC MS Add. While preparing the second edition, Newton thought once again of an essay on "the attraction of the small particles of bodies," but on "second thought" he chose "rather to add but one short Paragraph about that part of Philosophy." The conclusion he finally produced is the celebrated General Scholium, with its oft-quoted slogan "Hypotheses non fingo." This General Scholium ends with a paragraph about a "spirit" which has certain physical properties, but whose laws have not as yet been determined by experiment. In these texts, Newton shows that he intended to conclude the Principia with a discussion of the forces between the particles of matter, but then thought better of introducing so controversial a topic. Rupert Hall and Marie Boas Hall, who published the original drafts. His intentions were revealed in 1962 by A. Newton had at first essayed a conclusion, but later changed his mind. The original edition ended rather abruptly with a discussion of the orbits of comets, a topic making up about a third of book 3. The strength of any force was expressed in terms of an equivalent gravitational attraction, with weights or masses measured in grains. Historically, forces were first quantitatively investigated in conditions of static equilibrium where several forces cancelled each other out. No unit of force was proposed until 1873, when the dyne was introduced. Indeed Newton thought that there were different types of force $^1$. If you read the article On the Concept of Force: How Understanding its History can Improve Physics Teaching you will realise that Newton's ideas about force are not the same as those of today. ![]() ![]() ![]() Go to the Layers panel > "plus" button > Add a new layer to enrich your map. They can handle the current and heat of circuits that are lower and higher than 20 amps. However, 100 ft 12-2 Romex are versatile. In most cases, a 20 amps circuit breaker should be installed with these cables. How Many Amps is a 12-2 Romex Wire Good for?Ī 12 gauge Romex wire is rated for a 20 amps circuit. 50 ft Romex 12-2 cables are used mainly for indoor wiring in homes and office buildings. The individual conductors usually have white, black, and red insulation. Most 1000 ft 12-2 Romex cables have a yellow outer jacket to differentiate them from 14-gauge and 10-gauge wires. It protects them from exposure, rust, or bridging (accidental contact between the live and neutral wires). The tough non-metallic sheathing serves as a casing for the individual wires. A 12-2 Romex wire also has a bare or insulated ground wire bundled with the current-carrying wires. The second number (2) indicates the number of current-carrying wires. The first number (12) refers to the gauge under the American Wire Guage (AWG) system. Depending on the configuration, you may want to install a dual-pole GFCI in the panel (advantage: one location and "done" disadvantage: long way to go to reset) or you may want to install receptacle/GFCI devices at the point of use (advantage: easy reset when needed disadvantage: depending on how/where the MWBC is split, this may not be practical or may require other changes to the wiring).12-2 Romex wires are copper wires insulated and bundled together in a single non-metallic sheath. There are also complications when it comes to wiring up GFCI on an MWBC, but if installed correctly an MWBC is perfectly safe. That is important because otherwise the shared neutral could have current on it from the other circuit when you think everything is off because the breaker for one circuit is off. The two circuits have common shutoff - i.e., if you turn off the breaker for one circuit, the breaker for the other circuit always turns off at the same time.In other words, if you have 15A on one circuit and 10A on the other, the neutral will actually have 15 - 10 = 5A, not 25A. ![]() If so, the neutral is the difference between the circuits instead of the sum of the circuits.
